Mr. Hoffman, who served in the United States Navy between 1968-1971 and is an Honorably Discharged Vietnam Veteran, developed an expertise in performing building energy assessments and in identifying the most cost-effective creative energy efficiency solutions for a variety of commercial, government, institutional, and residential clients. His concentration is designing and installing Geothermal HVAC systems. His experience grew from over 30 years in the conventional and alternative energy business as a Master of Science Degreed Geologist and is a Certified Geologist with the American Associatin of Petroleum Geologists.  He has significant experience in Energy Audits; Energy Credit assistance; and Alternative Energy Plant Design & Management.  

He has worked as an energy consultant serving the commercial, industrial, government, and residential building sectors.  Experience includes: Conducting facility energy audits; energy simulation modeling; energy efficiency building retrofit specifications and designs; waste to energy feasibility studies; design and construction of facilities; and energy education and awareness programs.  Has management and operational experience in various businesses since 1978. Mr. Hoffman has recently received notable recognition and won awards including Louisiana Governor’s Technology Leader of the Year 2007, a New Orleans City Business Innovator of the Year in 2008 and Louisiana’s Technology Council “Cool Tech” eWard, 2008.
